Diaper Pins Solves Everything (Almost)
Posted by Camp Trainer on Jan 20, 2009 in Essential Tools • No comments • 102 viewsWell, not sure about creating world peace. But in any trip, they definitely provide a way out from those unexpected situations.
Cloth Diapers make excellent camp towels. They’re lightweight, compact and absorbent. Diaper pins are actually much more rugged and visible in dim light than other safety pins. Uses are endless: They can serve as clothespins - pin through the line and wet clothes won’t slide together - and as an emergency replacement pin for eyeglasses.
Use them to secure pockets in packs and clothes when zippers fail, pin money and credit cards inside pockets, attach a whistle to a life jacket, hang a flashlight from a tent etc.
A dozen diaper pins are not too many to bring along on your camping and hiking trip.
